Ben Pechey (They/Them) Ben is a non-binary writer, public speaker and diversity & inclusion specialist. They’re an LGBT+ advocate and fashion icon on social media, and with each post they aim to increase visibility of the queer community and educate others. They also are the creator of The Happy Place podcast. About the panelists... Shiva Raichandani (They/Them) Shiva is a non-binary performance artist whose work harnesses the power of storytelling to create inclusive spaces for positive gender-diverse representation in media, especially for South Asians. They also work as a speaker and consultant on inclusive LGBTQIA+ practices for corporate and non-profit organisations. Bachul Koul, (They/Them) Bachul is a queer Kashmiri-American who identifies as trans/non-binary (pronouns: they/them). They are an Associate Partner at Kearney, a global management consulting firm, focusing on culture and change-enabled large-scale, strategic transformation programs. Bachul is also one of Kearney’s global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion leaders and has authored a few thought pieces, including an article on why “An Inclusive Customer Experience for Non-Binary People is Necessary”. Outside of work, they are a Board Member at LYRIC, a San Francisco based non-profit focused on LGBTQ+ youth. Bachul lives in San Francisco with their wife, Nicole. Luke Lopez (He/They) Luke is a big-hearted, proudly queer, and multi-racial artist who forges meaning everywhere he goes. He's a natural at connecting with people of diverse backgrounds and skillsets. His impactful career in advertising & design spans 10+ years in the fields of government, healthcare, marketing, public relations, media, non-profit, beauty, and fashion. They are the current Lead of Accessibility and Inclusive Design at Klick Health, a marketing agency based in Toronto. He's also the Co-Founder & Design Director of DESALU Creative – a proudly multi-racial, Jewish, and gay-owned purposeful design studio. Some clients he's worked with include WWF-Canada, Corus Entertainment, University of Toronto, Special Olympics Canada, Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada, NYU, The Weather Network, Huffpost, and more.
