The meeting will include a summary of the organization’s key accomplishments; a financial overview of 2020 and forecast for 2021; traveler sentiment research and trends; conversations with the Group Business, Community Engagement, and Marketing & Communications teams; and a special presentation on responsible travel from guest speaker Andrew Leary with the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics. Additionally, Sonoma County Tourism will reveal and honor the 2021 Stars of the Industry. This new awards program was designed to celebrate those within the local hospitality trade that go above and beyond to elevate the guest experience. Awards will be issued in the categories of Customer Engagement, Environmental Stewardship/Sustainable Practices, Front of the House, and Heart of the House.
