Part 3 of our free monthly webinar series empowering communities through conversation.

A live panel discussion with four Queer Disabled Leaders, who will be sharing their stories and unique lived experience through the lens of their different LGBTQ+ intersecting identities. Be prepared to gain some insight and perspective as well as some practical advice around creating more inclusive cultures in the workplace. About the host... Mark Travis Rivera (he/him) Mark is an activist, choreographer, dancer, feminist, writer and Founder of an integrated dance company for disabled and non-disabled dancers; inspired by the fact that he was born with cerebral palsy, which affects his mobility skills. A dynamic, innovative, and driven speaker, Mark discusses intersectional identities and body-image from a Latino, gay, gender non-conforming, and disabled perspective. About the panelists... Max Marchewicz (they/them) Max is a trans non-binary sign language interpreter and an accessibility consultant. Max was openly queer from a young age but after developing a chronic pain condition in their twenties began feeling excluded from queer spaces and being "left out of the conversation". So they began delivering talks to raise awareness on the intersection of queerness and disability. Char Bailey (she/her) Char is a qualified NLP practitioner and Personal Performance Coach. She's also an Education & Inclusion officer for the biggest global movement for queer people of colour UK Black Pride. Her work focuses heavily on self awareness, confidence and success/resilience mindset. Stewart O’Callaghan (They/Them) Stewart is the founder and executive director of Live Through This, the UK's only LGBTIQ+ cancer charity. Developed out of personal experience and a desire to help others, the charity has grown from a peer-support group to a nationally sought-after body for expert opinion of all queer matters in cancer. Stewart believes strongly in the power of queer community and mutual care, and is proud to innovate strategies to improve patient experience. About the Queer Perspectives series... A monthly series of live panel discussions centred around the Queer Experience. A virtual space for queer voices to share fresh perspectives; empowering the wider community through conversation and story-telling.
